The Studio
Real watercolor. Painted by hand.
Six thousand portraits over three quiet years. One pair of hands, one small studio, Winsor & Newton pigment on thick Canson paper. Everything you see on this site is painted — never printed, never generated, never outsourced.

The best portraits capture a moment you didn't know you could keep. A dog you lost. A wedding you remember imperfectly. The house you grew up in, which is no longer the house you grew up in. That's what I'm doing here — paying close attention, then painting it.
Each commission begins as a conversation. You send a photograph; I draft; we correspond. When I'm certain of the likeness, I paint. When the painting is finished, I send you a high-resolution photograph of it — before it ships. You may ask for revisions, as many as you need. Only when you approve does it leave the studio.
